 Jim and I returned from our honeymoon, more than ready to find our home. At first we were clueless, and decided to drive around San Diego County to visit some open houses and meet potential real-estate agents. We met our share of agents throughout the day, each very interested in selling us the "open homes" and showing us more homes for sale later on that day. Then we stumbled upon a small home which Lia was showing as a favor for a friend. She was immediately honest, open and ready to educate a clueless newlywed couple.

She was always professional and quick to respond (which is so incredibly important in San Diego's market!). She has the patience of a saint, which held strong as we waffled back-and-forth on multiple occasions.

Lia explained all steps of escrow so that everything made perfect sense, and was even with us when we signed our loan papers to ensure everything ran smoothly. One of Lia's strongest traits is that she is an intelligent, fierce negotiator. We were always so relived she was on our side! The process of buying a home, though one of the biggest decisions of our lives, proved to be fairly smooth. As Lia told us when we first met, "Every escrow has it's speed-bumps." (so true!). An intelligent, dedicated agent like Lia really does make it as smooth as possible. We already have and would whole-heartedly refer her to family,friends and coworkers. 

Lia Tysdal is the absolute best. As a first time home buyer the whole process can be quite scary. I had heard so many horror stories from people that had problems with their agents. My experience was quite the opposite. Lia set up guidelines for me to follow in making my selection. Lia assisted me in establishing a spending plan to get my finances in order to ease the financial fears one has with purchasing a home.

She made it a point to become knowledgeable with the lending programs that I was interested in using (to make sure I asked the lender all the right questions) and negotiated everything with my condo in my best interest. Lia walked me through the paperwork and made it as simple possible.

Lia's knowledge of the market, the rates, what to look for as far as the condition of the property and available resources was remarkable. I've made it a point to tell everyone that if they're looking for a realtor, my agent, Lia Tysdal is the best!

 My overall experience of working with Lia was wonderful. Lia quickly figured out that I am not a details person but that my husband Tim is - and she tailored all of her communication and information to us individually to support our personalities.

She prepared charts and graphs for Tim and made colorful maps showing the big picture for me. That was amazing. From our first day with Lia to the closing of our brand new awesome home was a total of 45 days. It was a crazy 45 days, but Lia jumped in 110% and never slowed down. She helped us find a mortgage company and followed through on that entire process with us, she negotiated VERY well-on our behalf with the builder, and we felt taken care of through the entire process. Actually we still do - Lia continues to follow up with us.

We refer Lia to everyone who mentions a move in our presence!! Bottom line - she was an awesome realtor to work with and I would use her again and again and again.

I had an exceptional experience with Lia Tysdal as my personal real estate consultant. I just moved to San Diego and did not know anything about the area. Searching for a Real Estate agent? Recently I sold my house, and thank god for Lia Tysdal, because she made the entire experience trivial. If you can believe that selling a house was trivial. This was the third house I have sold, and Lia handled or helped me in one way or another with the following items: Gardner's, termite stuff (yuck!), escrow (more yuck), carpenters, house and window cleaners. Lia is and was extremely professional, has a great sense of humor and a great sense for for urgency.
